William Jones, who was born in Ledbury, Herefordshire was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs James Jones of Bank Farm Cottages, West Malvern. He had two brothers in the armed forces and had been previously employed at Bank Farm, before joining up on the outbreak of war.
He is belived to be buried in 7th Ambulance Cemetery [1] on Gallipoli.
