Captain Wynne Owen late 38th Garwhal Rifles now 39th Dogras (attd) has been killed in action. He entered the Indian Army in 1905 and obtained his company in 1914. He was the adopted son of Revd H Maynard Smith, Vicar of Holy Trinity, North Malvern and was 30 years of age.
