Sidney Hart of Clive Villas, Pickersleigh Rd was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Hart of Smithfield, Link Top. He was reported killed in March 1918. His brother, Walter Hart was killed a few weeks before. A memorial service was held for Sidney Hart at the Emmanuel Church, Wells Road a few days later.
